These are digital files, so the law around returns works a little differently than it does for physical goods. Here is the whole policy, plainly.
The file will not open, or it is damaged, or pages are missing, or the dates are wrong and we cannot correct them. Also if you never received the email after a successful payment.
You downloaded the file and then changed your mind. You would have to open it to know whether you liked it, so it cannot be returned once it is in your hands.
Write to [email protected] with your order email address and what went wrong. We reply within two working days. Approved refunds go back through the original payment method, and you will see it in 5–10 days depending on your bank.
If you entered the wrong birth date, city, or country, write to us within 24 hours and we will regenerate the file correctly and resend it, free. After 24 hours we can still help, but we may ask to cover the generation cost — the calculation is real work and it takes us a moment.
A personalised almanac is made for one person. Once it is generated we cannot resell it, so we cannot refund it. This is also why the checkout asks you to confirm you want the file delivered straight away — it is the arrangement the EU and UK consumer rules permit for digital downloads.
The Journal is a subscription. You can cancel at any time by replying to any letter or using the unsubscribe link in each one. If you cancel within 14 days of your first letter, we will refund the full amount. After that we will refund any full years you have not yet received.
If you think you have been charged in error, please write to us first. A personal email is quicker and kinder than a dispute, and we can usually sort it out the same day.
